Fire

"A Chrome extension that simulates transactions."
Type of Product: Crypto Safety
Purpose of Tool: Fire is a Chrome extension that simulates transactions, showing you exactly what will go in and out of your wallet before you sign the contract. Before you sign, Fire lets you understand the effects of the contract you are interacting with, blocking known malicious contracts so you never interact with them.
How it works:
Download the Fire Chrome extension.
The Fire extension catches signature requests from your browser, runs a simulation, and shows you the results.
If everything looks good, you sign the transaction using your wallet.
Team / Funding / Backers / Other Info: Fire is actually a newly launched product just last October 24th, 2022. With that being said, they also launched an onboarding mini-game which gives you a chance to try Fire for the first time.
Executive Team:
Jeff Krantz - Technical
Josh Breite - Product
Rahul Patni - Technical
It’s great to see complimentary projects in the ecosystem, and @_joinfire is working to make Web3 safer 🔥🙏🏼
“I think this is a really cool way to show the value of the Fire extension here”
Have you played the Fire extension game yet anon?
